The saying that a prophet is without honour in his home, was dispelled last Saturday at the peaceful community of Orogun, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State. Old and young people filled the town square for a historic event.
Traditional dancers and praise singers populated the venue of the coronation of Chief Ovie Omo-Agege, former Secretary to the State Government, (SSG) in Delta.They were joined by monarchs, chiefs, politicians and community leaders across the state.
Chief Omo-Agege got the title of Obarrisi of Orogun Kingdom, Delta State.There was a flamboyant show of Urhobo culture as most people stormed the venue, decked in colourful attires.
